KEPO Tender for Boulder Excavation in Recreation Bay

Public Service Announcement

The Kahnawà:ke Environment Protection Office (KEPO) is seeking an experienced contractor to undertake boulder excavation work at Recreation Bay as part of the Tekakwitha Island and Recreation Bay Restoration Project.

The selected contractor will be responsible for removing approximately 1,000 m³ of boulders and granular material from below the water’s surface using barge(s). The material will then be transported to the linear pond and marsh to enhance habitat features, followed by restoration of the affected areas.

The submission deadline is Friday, January 10, 2025, at 3pm. The deadline to submit questions regarding the tender is Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 5pm.
