Lahache Road copper line repair

Lahache Road Closure

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke would like to inform all road users about an upcoming road closure due to a copper water line repair. The repair work is scheduled for Thursday, May 15th, on Lahache Road, between Kane’s Corner Road and Lazare Road, from 7am to 2:30pm.

During this period, a detour will be in place to ensure the safety and convenience of all road users. Please follow the posted signs and drive with caution in the area.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Tsi Na’teiontenonhwerá:tons Awenhnísera on Monday, October 12th.

The Waste Management Department will be closed for cardboard drop-offs. Regular household recycling, compost, and special collections pickup will occur as usual. The Transfer Depot will be closed for the holiday.

All essential services will remain in operation.

Regular office business hours will resume on Tuesday, October 13th, at 8:30am.
