The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community of the following temporary office closures:

  • On Thursday, August 21st, from 12 noon to 4pm, the Client-Based Services Unit and the Finance Unit, including the Cashier Booth at the Kahnawà:ke Office Complex, will be closed for a staff function.
  • On Friday, August 22nd, all administrative offices of the MCK will be closed from 12 noon to 4:00pm for an afternoon staff function. All essential services will remain operational during this time.

Community members are encouraged to use the Desjardins AccèsD platform to make online payments during these closures. Instructions for using this service are available by clicking here.

Regular office hours will resume on Monday, August 25th, at 8:30am.

The MCK appreciates the community’s understanding and apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these temporary closures.

Easter Holiday office closure

Friday, April 3rd & Monday, April 6th, 2026

All administrative offices of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke will be closed.

 

Please note the following changes to Waste Management Department services during this period:

 

  • Friday, April 3rd – Administrative offices closed
  • Monday, April 6th – Waste Management services resume as usual; however, there will be no cardboard drop‑offs
  • Monday, April 6th – Transfer Depot will operate with reduced hours, from 8am to 2pm

 

Garbage pickup service will continue through the holiday without interruption.

 

All essential services will remain operational throughout the office closures. Regular administrative office hours will resume on Tuesday, April 7th, at 8:30am.
