The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec that repair work on the structural elements of the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge will take place from Friday 11pm until Monday 5am. One (1) lane will be available in each direction (counter-flow traffic configuration) on the Kahnawà:ke-bound side of the span.
The Airlie entrance from Lasalle towards Kahnawà:ke will be open to traffic, see map below.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
