The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Ministère des Transports du Québec that repair work on the steel structure underneath the span will require the closure of the Kahnawà:ke-bound Mercier Bridge from 11pm on Friday, August 29th until 7am on Monday, September 1st. One (1) lane will be available in each direction (counter-flow traffic configuration) on the Montreal-bound side of the span.
The Airlie entrance from Lasalle towards R-138 west/Kahnawà:ke will be closed.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
