The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Inc. that maintenance work will require the following overnight closures for the Mercier Bridge.
- R-138 East and West on the span over the Seaway, temporary lane closures one direction at a time – Thursday, 10pm to 5am
- R-138 East up ramp (Chateauguay towards Montreal) closed, detour via R-132 – Friday, 10pm to 5am
- R-138 West down ramp (Montreal towards Chateauguay) closed, detour via R-132 East – Saturday, 10pm to 5am
- R-132 West up ramp (St. Constant/A-30 towards Montreal) & R-132 East down ramp (Montreal towards St. Constant/A-30) closed, detour via R-138 – Sunday, 10pm to 5am
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
