The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform Kahnawa’kehró:non that Mohawk Trail Road will be closed on Wednesday, May 27th, beginning at 7am for approximately 3-4 hours to allow for waterline repairs. Please see the map below for details.
Crews will be repairing a leak in an underground water line servicing three (3) residential homes off Mohawk Trail Road. To access the line, the roadway must be excavated, requiring a full closure of the street. Work is expected to be completed by approximately 11am, at which time the road will be reopened.
Detours will be clearly marked to maintain traffic flow. Residents are asked to use alternate routes to access Mohawk Trail and Lot 106 during this time. Please contact Public Works at 450-633-9436 if you require any additional information.
