The Housing Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke, in partnership with the Caisse Populaire Kahnawà:ke, is excited to present a Money Matters Workshop titled “Effective Money Management” for Kahnawa′kehró:non. This free workshop will take place on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 5:30pm to 8pm at the Golden Age Club.
The workshop aims to enhance financial literacy of Kahnawa′kehró:non. Participants will learn about:
- Managing income and expenses
- Creating and following a budget
- Budgeting tips and tricks
- Saving for and purchasing your first home
- Defining your home selection criteria
- Choosing the right mortgage and insurance
Attendees will also have the chance to win prizes and enjoy catered food.
