New Stop signs to be installed on McComber road and New Development

Stop Sign

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise the community that new stop signs will be installed for vehicular and pedestrian safety. The Public Works Unit will soon be installing new stop signs at two locations. See maps below.

The first phase of the installation will be the painting of new stop lines today, Wednesday, May 7th, or tomorrow, Thursday, May 8th, followed by installation of the new signage. The decision to install the new stop signs at these intersections was made by the Public Safety Division and the Public Works Unit.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
