The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Ratsénhaienhs David Diabo and Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo will be representing the community at the Iroquois Caucus General Assembly this week in Akwesasne Territory, ON.

- Meeting with Grand Chief Constant Awashish, of the Atikamekw Nation
- Meeting with Indigenous Services Canada and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada Minister, Rebecca Alty
- Justice Canada – United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act implementation
- Update to 2026 Kahnawà:ke Harvest Summit
The Iroquois Caucus General Assembly began yesterday, Monday, October 20th. The Nitsénhaienhs are scheduled to be returning to the community on Wednesday, October 22nd.
