The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Nitsénhaienhs Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer and Cody Diabo met with Quebec representatives today, including Premier Francois Legault, Ian Lafrenière, Minister Responsible for Relations with the First Nations and the Inuit, and Marie-Belle Gendron, Member of National Assembly for Châteauguay.
Meeting agenda items were the Quebec-Kahnawà:ke MOU Relationship Framework and the Industrial Spill.
The meeting took place at 1pm in Chateauguay at the offices of Marie-Belle Gendron, MNA.
