OCR and Delisle Road project – Phase 2 update

OCR and Delisle Road intersection closure

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Phase 2 of the OCR and Delisle Road project begins today, Tuesday, July 14th.

Construction work will take place on Delisle Road, from the Old Châteauguay Road (OCR) intersection toward Kirby Road.

Residents affected by this closure will be required to follow the signed detour route that will be in place.

Once work at the intersection is complete, the OCR will reopen to local traffic only and will remain on a gravel surface until curb installation and paving work are scheduled.

The public is reminded that construction schedules may change due to weather conditions, operational factors, or the pace of work.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as these improvements continue.
