Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs engages W8banaki on key development talks

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo is in Odanak First Nation today to meet with Chief Richard O’Bomsawin and representatives of the W8banaki Nation. The purpose of this visit is to explore opportunities for collaboration on files of mutual interest.

This meeting reflects a continued commitment to strengthening inter-nation relationships and advancing shared priorities through dialogue and collaboration.

Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Diabo will return to the community following the conclusion of the meeting later today.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Waste Management services are as follows:

  • There will be NO Recycling and Compost collection
  • No cardboard drop offs
  • The Transfer Depot will be closed – regular Transfer Depot hours resume on Saturday, July 4th
  • Household Garbage collection will continue as usual

 

All essential services will remain in operation.

Regular business hours will resume at 8:30am on Monday, July 6th.
