OCR/Blind Lady’s Hill intersection

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to advise the community of the closure of the Old Chateauguay Road (OCR) for the OCR Rehabilitation Project. Starting tomorrow, Thursday, May 22nd, the OCR will be closed at the Blind Lady’s Hill intersection to Mohawk Street from 7am until 2:30pm. This closure and detour will be in place for the next 5-7 days.

Due to the nature of the roadwork and detour, motorists are being asked to avoid the area, if possible, especially during the rush-hour periods.

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing. The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
