The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform residents and business of the upcoming paving project, that will require a partial closure of the Old Malone Highway (OMH).
Beginning on Monday, September 8 until Friday, October 3, 2025, the section of the OMH from the Canadian Pacific Kansas City Tunnel to the intersection of R-132, will be completely closed to traffic for the duration of this project.
Detours will be in place for businesses directly impacted by this work, as well as a detour for those accessing the village area via R-132.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
