The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that repairs to a waterline will take place on Old Malone Highway, just west of the Canadian Pacific Kansas City tunnel, on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Work is scheduled to begin at 7am, weather permitting, and is expected to be completed by approximately 11am the same day.
This work will result in a partial road closure. Detours will be clearly marked to maintain traffic flow, and residents are asked to use alternate routes during this time. Homes in the immediate area may also experience a temporary interruption in water service during this work.
