One-time Inflation Benefit registration underway

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to advise community members that registrations for a one-time $500 inflation benefit are now being accepted by PlanIt Consulting and Communications (“PlanIt”). To be eligible, applicants must be a member on the Kahnawà:ke Kanien’kehá:ka Registry and be 18 years of age or older on or before April 30, 2026.

The deadline to submit a request for the one-time benefit is Friday, March 13, 2026, at 4pm. Requests submitted after this time will not be accepted.

Physical cheques will be distributed by mail to the address on file for eligible applicants by May 2026. Applicants are responsible for ensuring their contact information is accurate and up to date. Eligible applicants will not receive individual confirmation unless follow-up is needed.

Requests can be submitted in several ways. Community members may contact PlanIt directly by reaching out to Melissa Jean Deer at melissajean@planitkahnawake.ca or by phone at 514-754-2028. An online request form is also available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MCKinflationBenefit.

In-person kiosks will be available at various locations throughout the community until March 13. Paper request forms can also be picked up at the MCK Client-Based Services Office in the Kahnawake Services Complex, Tewatohnhi’saktha Lobby, and several other places of business around the community. Completed paper forms must be dropped off at the PlanIt Office, Monday to Thursday from 8:45am to 3:30pm.
