The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been advised by the Ministère des Transports du Québec (MTQ) that the R-138 East up ramp from Chateauguay towards Montreal and the R-138 West down ramp from Montreal towards Chateauguay will be closed tonight, Tuesday, June 17th, from 10pm to 5am.
The ramp closures are required for the dismantlement work on the overhead sign at the base of the ramps on R-138 A detour will be in place, please see map below.
Additionally, the MTQ will be inspecting the right lane on the Kahnawà:ke bound Mercier Bridge, between Lasalle and the first superstructure tonight from 10pm to 5am.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
