The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges, Inc. that maintenance and repairs to the overhead lighting will require the overnight closures of the following access ramps on the Kahnawà:ke side of the span.
- R-138 East up ramp (direction Chateauguay towards Montreal) closed – Thursday 10pm until 4am
- R-138 West down ramp (direction Montreal towards Chateauguay) closed – Friday 10pm until 4am
- BACKUP (IF REQUIRED) – R-138 East up ramp (direction Chateauguay towards Montreal) closed – Saturday 10pm until 4am
Detours will be in place for the ramp closures.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
