Planting Day office closure

All administrative offices of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke will be closed on Monday, May 18th, for Tsi Niieiénthos Awenhnísera/Planting Day.

  • Recycling for business, cardboard collection, special collections, and compost pick-up service will continue as normal. Please have items curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot will be open from 8am – 1pm
  • No cardboard drop-offs
  • All essential services remain in operation

Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, May 19th, at 8:30am.

Labor Day office closure

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Rotiio’ténion Raonenhnísera, Labor Day on Monday, September 7th.

Service Schedule for Labor Day:

  • Recycling & Compost Collection: Will continue as usual – Please place bins curbside by 7am
  • Transfer Depot: CLOSED for the day
  • Town Garage: CLOSED – All cardboard drop-offs postponed to Tuesday, September 8th

 

All essential services will remain in operation. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, September 8th, at 8:30am.
