In this update, Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo provides updates on recent meetings and initiatives, including Jay Treaty Border Alliance discussions, gaming and economic partnerships with First Nations across Canada, and ongoing efforts to strengthen the Iroquois Caucus. The discussion also highlights work to advance Indigenous rights, sovereignty, collaboration, and future economic opportunities for the community.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Tsi Na’teiontenonhwerá:tons Awenhnísera on Monday, October 12th.
The Waste Management Department will be closed for cardboard drop-offs. Regular household recycling, compost, and special collections pickup will occur as usual. The Transfer Depot will be closed for the holiday.
All essential services will remain in operation.
