R-138 closures for overhead sign project

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to advise the community that work on the overhead signs continues tonight, Monday, June 30^th and Tuesday, July 1^st from 10pm until 5am.

Crews will begin setting up the closures and detour from 8:30pm to 9:30pm each night.

• R-138/R-132 East Service Road (from Chateauguay towards La Prairie/A-30) closed, detour via the Montreal bound Mercier Bridge, U-turn at Clement back to the Kahnawake bound Mercier Bridge

• R-138 East up ramp (from Chateauguay towards Montreal) partial right lane closure

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
