The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to advise the community that the R-138/R-132 East Service Road will be closed tonight (Monday) from 10:30pm until 5am the following morning (see map below). This closure is expected to continue each night this week.
The closure of the Service Road is required as part of the R-132 Paving Project, which began last night and is scheduled to be completed on July 14, 2024.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights. The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression and that it does not take part in the scheduling or cancellation of such works.
