Ratitsénhaienhs’ travel schedule for this week

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke wishes to inform the community of Ratitsénhaienhs’ travel schedule for this week.

  • Following Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo’s participation at the Jay Treaty Border Alliance (JTBA) High Table meeting in Ottawa, Ontario. Diabo will travel on Wednesday, April 29th, to meet with multiple Nations as well as the Western Chiefs Economic Alliance in Saskatchewan. From there, he will meet with the Enoch Cree Nation in Edmonton on Friday, May 1st, and attend the Enoch Cree pow-wow on Saturday, May 2nd.
  • Ratsénhaienhs Paul Rice will also travel Wednesday, April 29th, to meet with multiple Nations as well as the Western Chiefs Economic Alliance in Saskatchewan. From there, he will be meeting with the Enoch Cree Nation in Edmonton on Friday, May 1st.
  • Ratsénhaienhs David Diabo will be in Ottawa, Ontario, participating in JTBA Collaborative Initiative Governance discussions today (Tuesday, April 28th) and will return Thursday, April 30th. Ratsénhaienhs Jeffrey Diabo will also be in attendance from Wednesday, April 29th, and will return on Thursday, April 30th.
  • Ratsénhaienhs Ryan Montour will be in Toronto participating in the First Nations Major Projects Coalition Conference today (Tuesday, April 28th) and will return Friday, May 1st.

All Ratitsénhaienhs will return to office on the business day following their respective return.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

Waste Management services are as follows:

  • There will be NO Recycling and Compost collection
  • No cardboard drop offs
  • The Transfer Depot will be closed – regular Transfer Depot hours resume on Saturday, July 4th
  • Household Garbage collection will continue as usual

 

All essential services will remain in operation.

Regular business hours will resume at 8:30am on Monday, July 6th.
