The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community of upcoming road work on R-138 on Tuesday, October 1, from 9am to 2:30pm. Crews will be repairing and repaving part of the right-hand lane on R-138 West (at the curve just past the traffic light at the Old Traffic Circle), as well as the Multi-Purpose lane (R-138 East) at the lights by Playground.

Additionally, the Jacques-Cartier and Champlain Bridges Inc. will be conducting overnight maintenance work on the R-138 East up-ramp (Chateauguay towards Montreal) each night until Thursday, October 3 from 10pm until 5am (see map below).

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
