The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated that the Route 132/138 West Service Road (direction La Prairie/A-30 towards Chateauguay) will be closed tonight, Thursday, July 10th from 10pm to 5am.
This closure is required to fully reopen the R-132/138 West Service Road, which has been partially closed since the Summer of 2022 for the pier rehabilitation project.
Westbound traffic will be detoured via the Old Malone Highway; trucks will be detoured over the Mercier Bridge.
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
