The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has been informed by the Jacques Cartier and Champlain Bridges Incorporated that maintenance work and inspections will require the following overnight closures on the Mercier Bridge tonight, Thursday, May 15th.
- R-138 East up ramp (Chateauguay towards Montreal) CLOSED, detour via R-132 – 10pm to 1am
- R-138 East (towards Montreal) RIGHT LANE CLOSED between the up ramps and the second superstructure – 10pm to 1am
- R-138 West (towards Kahnawà:ke) RIGHT LANE CLOSED between the second superstructure and the down ramps – 1am to 5am
Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when emergency lights are flashing.
The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
