This letter authorizes The St Lawrence Seaway Management Corporation and its contractor Mohawk Painting to begin preparatory work on the CPKC Lift Bridge, Friday, February 6 at 7pm until Monday, February 9, 2026, at 9am.
Additionally, Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke has authorized the closure by-pass road under the train bridge during this work.

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) would like to inform the community that all its administrative offices will be closed for Tsi Na’teiontenonhwerá:tons Awenhnísera on Monday, October 12th.
The Waste Management Department will be closed for cardboard drop-offs. Regular household recycling, compost, and special collections pickup will occur as usual. The Transfer Depot will be closed for the holiday.
All essential services will remain in operation.
