Youth Forum meeting tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the monthly meeting of the Kahnawà:ke Youth Forum is scheduled for tonight (Tuesday) at the Kahnawà:ke Youth Center.

Agenda items include Membership (MCK’s Membership Administrator Rodney Thomas will be in attendance to answer questions); CKER Community Channel; Youth Exchange update; and a personal apology by the young man who broke into the Mohawk Trail Longhouse.

All Kahnawà:ke youth between the ages of 12 and 30 are invited to attend. First time attendees are most welcome and are definitely urged to attend.

“We’re looking forward to another productive meeting with the youth of Kahnawà:ke,” said Chief Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer, one of the two Youth Portfolio chiefs, along with John Dee Delormier. “We’ll continue to discuss issues that are important to them, whether they’re political or social.”

The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 9pm on the second floor.
