Youth Forum meeting tonight

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the monthly meeting of the Kahnaw�:ke Youth Forum is scheduled for tonight (Tuesday) at the Kahnaw�:ke Youth Center.

Agenda items include Membership (MCK�s Membership Administrator Rodney Thomas will be in attendance to answer questions); CKER Community Channel; Youth Exchange update; and a personal apology by the young man who broke into the Mohawk Trail Longhouse.

All Kahnaw�:ke youth between the ages of 12 and 30 are invited to attend. First time attendees are most welcome and are definitely urged to attend.

�We�re looking forward to another productive meeting with the youth of Kahnaw�:ke,� said Chief Kahsennenhawe Sky-Deer, one of the two Youth Portfolio chiefs, along with John Dee Delormier. �We�ll continue to discuss issues that are important to them, whether they�re political or social.�

The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 9pm on the second floor.
