CP replacing railway ties near Adirondack Junction

The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw�:ke has been informed by Canadian Pacific that crews will be replacing wooden railway ties at the area of the Adirondack Junction.

Crews, with machinery, will be working tonight (May 25th) from 11pm � 3am and tomorrow (Tuesday, May 26th) from 6pm � 2am.

Work to install new ties will also take place from Tuesday, June 2nd to Tuesday, June 9th from 6pm � 4am.

Noise coming from the machines being used may be a factor for residents in the area where the works are being performed.
