UPDATED Advisory Regarding Travel to Tioweroton

The Kahnaw�:ke COVID-19 Task Force wishes to update Kahnawa′kehr�:non on new information that police forces in Quebec will be conducting checkpoints around the province to discourage travel between zones, similar to tactics employed earlier in the pandemic.

While Tiower�:ton is considered an extension of Kahnaw�:ke, due to the fact that the Pandemic Status is now is now Red/Onekw�ntara, the Task Force highly recommends that Kahnawa′kehr�:non stay local and avoid any unnecessary travel.

Any and all actions are subject to change at any time. Depending on the severity of the situation. Should that happen we will inform and advise the community immediately.
