The Mohawk Council of Kahnaw:ke (MCK) would like to inform the road users of an upcoming major project to resurface the R-138/R-132 East Service Road that will have an impact on local and non-local traffic on Friday, November 3 at 9pm until Monday, November 6 at 5am.

Access to the R-138/R-132 East Service Road will be unavailable until the resurfacing is complete. The map below shows the section of road to be resurfaced.

Detours & Alternate Routes: Motorists wishing to access R-132 East from R-138 East will be detoured over the Montreal-bound Mercier Bridge to the Clement Street exit and then to R-138 West/ Kahnaw:ke-bound Mercier Bridge to the R-132 East exit. Motorists from points west of Kahnaw:ke (Chateauguay, Lery, Mercier, etc.) are being advised to use A-30 towards R-132 (St. Constant/La Prairie).

Local motorists are being advised to use the local road network to access points east of the Village area.

Please drive with caution, slow down when entering construction zones, and respect the Move-Over Law when you see flashing lights.
