The Open House will bring MCK Units together under one roof, providing community members with an opportunity to learn about the wide range of programs, services, projects, and initiatives taking place across the organization. Visitors can meet directly with MCK employees, ask questions, learn how to access services, and explore displays and interactive activities highlighting the work of participating Units.
“The Open House is an opportunity to make our programs, services, and employees more accessible to the community,” said Executive Director Dawn Marquis-Deere. “By bringing MCK Units together in one place, we hope to help community members better understand what is available to them, connect directly with employees, and learn more about the work taking place across the organization.”
The Open House will also provide an opportunity for the MCK to listen and gather feedback. This will help identify what is working well, where improvements may be needed, and how programs and services can continue to evolve to meet the needs of Kahnawa’kehró:non.
“We want community members to come out, ask questions, and tell us what they think,” said Ohén:ton Í:rate ne Ratitsénhaienhs Cody Diabo. “Hearing directly from the people we serve is an important part of understanding community needs and ensuring our programs and services continue to respond to them.”
Community members are encouraged to attend, connect with MCK employees, and help inform the future of programs and services.
