Animal Vaccination Clinic – April 13, 2025

The Animal Vaccination Clinic, held on Sunday April 13, 2025, was an initiative hosted by Animal Control Services.

A total of 25 pets were vaccinated during the event, which was designed to inform stakeholders and offer affordable vaccinations and preventatives to pet owners in Kahnawà:ke.

Promoted through social media, the clinic provided education on proper vaccination schedules and when to begin preventatives for fleas, ticks, heartworms, and more. Community members appreciated the convenience of accessing services locally, with many also purchasing preventatives during their visit.

The positive response has led to increased interest, with more calls coming in to register for the next clinic in May 2025.

Due to its success, Animal Control plans to continue offering these vaccination clinics in the future.
