Brown snake inventory in the greenspace

Brown snake inventory in the greenspace

The Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) has authorized the Jacques Cartier & Champlain Bridges Incorporated and its contractor Aecom to conduct a brown snake study/inventory in the greenspace adjacent to the R-132 West Service Road.

The study/inventory will begin on Monday September 1st, to Friday October 31st, between the hours of 7am to 4pm.

The environmental technicians will be setting out roof shingles for the traps, two weeks before the start of the work and they will be removed once the inventory is complete.

We are asking Kahnawákeró:non to be aware of the traps and to not disturb the area.

The MCK reminds the public that these works are subject to change due to weather conditions, operational constraints, or work progression.
