The Housing Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is inviting contractors to submit bids for the construction of three single-family homes on community-owned land. This project will be carried out in accordance with the sketches and specifications provided in the tender documents. W8banaki, the Tribal Council grouping of the Abenaki bands Odanak and Wôlinakm, has been appointed to assist Kahnawà:ke with this call for tender process.
Tender documents can be obtained in two ways:
- In-Person: Pick up at the Housing Unit Office, located at the Kahnawà:ke Office Complex (east of the tunnel) between 8:30am and 4pm, Monday through Friday.
- Email: Request via email at [email protected].
Bid Submission Guidelines: The MCK reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The lowest bid will not necessarily be accepted, and bids that do not comply with the “Request for Quotation” will not be considered. All bids must be submitted using the Bid Form, and only bids completed on the Bid Form will be evaluated. Incomplete or partially completed bid forms may also be rejected. Contractors who commit to hiring local content will be favorably considered during the tender evaluation. Joint ventures between Kahnawà:ke and non-Kahnawà:ke contractors are acceptable for this project.
