Completion of ISC-Child and Family Services Housing Renovation Program

Public Service Announcement

The Housing Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Indigenous Services Canada (ISC)-Child and Family Services Renovation Program application process. The program, which was launched on December 17th, 2024, received an overwhelming response with 70 applications submitted by the deadline of January 31st, 2025.

Following a thorough review process, which included home visits to document the needs of each applicant, 67 applications were deemed eligible. After careful consideration, the Housing Unit has selected 23 families to participate in the program.

The selected applicants will be notified via phone call and letter. Those who were eligible but not selected this year will be placed on a waiting list for next year’s program and will also receive a letter informing them of their status.

The Housing Unit extends its gratitude to all applicants for their interest and participation in the ISC-Child and Family Services Renovation Program.
