Deer Road closure

WORK HAS BEEN DELAYED:

The Capital Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) wishes to inform the community that the south portion of Deer Road, located near the Catholic Cemetery, will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, June 4th, from 7am to 3:30pm, weather permitting. The closure is necessary to allow the Capital Construction Crew to connect water and sewer services for a residential building in the area. Due to the nature of the work, a full road closure is required. The road will be reopened once the work is completed.

Detour routes will be clearly marked to ensure safe traffic circulation.

The MCK appreciates the community’s patience and understanding during this temporary disruption and apologizes for any inconvenience it may cause.

Please note that all scheduled work is subject to change based on weather conditions, operational constraints, or project progression.

For further information, please contact the Capital Unit at 450-635-1016.
