The Office of the Kahnawà:ke Kanien’kehá:ka Registry (OKKR) wishes to inform the community that the following individual has applied for a Residency Permit under section 9.4b of the Kahnawà:ke Residency Law, a person who has two (2) Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke Great-Grandparents, has Immediate family and community ties and was raised in the Community.

This notice will be posted for thirty (30) calendar days beginning Friday, May 8, 2026. Written objections from recognized Kanien’kehá:ka of Kahnawà:ke must be submitted in person at the OKKR office no later than Sunday, June 7, 2026.

  • No Cardboard drop-offs
  • Transfer Depot will be closed
  • Recycling, compost, and cardboard pickup service will continue as usual

Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, June 23rd, at 8:30am.

  • The MCK Cashier will close at 12 noon
  • The Transfer Depot will close for the day at 11:30am and will resume operation on Saturday, June 20th, at 8am
