Seeking Community Members for Water and Wastewater Training Courses

The Public Works Unit of the Mohawk Council of Kahnawà:ke (MCK) is inviting interested community members to register for Canada’s Circuit Rider Training Program (CRTP), offering specialized courses in water and wastewater management for First Nations. This program aims to train future MCK employees responsible for ensuring the quality of drinking water and the proper treatment of discharged wastewater.

The CRTP provides operator training and mentorship under the guidance of experienced professionals. Courses range from two (2) to five (5) weeks in duration, with the start date depending on group size and accommodation availability.

Candidates should have a high school level of literacy and mathematical proficiency.
