Emergency Preparedness & Planning (EPP)

The EPP provides leadership, education and support to reduce the loss of life and protect Kahnawá:ke territories from all types of hazards through a risk-based emergency management program of mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
Daily tasks include conducting hazard analysis of areas within the community, updating our emergency response plans, preparing exercises to test those plans, keeping in contact with committee members ensuring there are no major problems that could affect our community in a disastrous way.
